One Home, Five Artizan Spaces
This project from returning clients, starting with a kitchen and utility design that expanded to include a media unit, fitted office, and walk-in wardrobe, resulting in a cohesive, stylish renovation that perfectly blends modern aesthetics with practical functionality throughout the entire space.
Key Elements
Jane and Adrian, returning clients who previously enjoyed a kitchen we created for them, reached out to us again after moving into a new home. After leaving behind their former kitchen, they were excited to work with us on a new project that started with designing their kitchen and utility room. We were thrilled to reconnect with them, especially as they joined us for a small celebration for our 25th anniversary, where they explored our new fitted furniture ranges. Inspired by the possibilities for their entire home, the scope of their project expanded to include not only the kitchen and utility but also a media unit, a fully fitted office space, and a luxurious walk-in wardrobe.
Jane and Adrian’s new home hadn’t been renovated for many years, offering a blank canvas for transformation. With clear ideas about how they wanted their home to look and feel, they also welcomed our design expertise to suggest features beyond their initial vision. Working closely with them, we developed a comprehensive plan to revitalise the entire space, focusing on creating cohesive and stylish designs throughout the home. Every detail was carefully considered, ensuring that the overall aesthetic reflected their personal style while providing the functionality needed for daily living.
A standout feature in their new kitchen is the cleverly designed secret opening between the kitchen and utility room. To maintain a seamless, modern look, we incorporated a bank of tall units that appear to offer great storage. However, with a subtle push, one of the panels opens to reveal an entrance to the utility and laundry room and, when viewed from the kitchen, a custom-designed bottle display unit showcasing their favourite wines.
Beyond the kitchen and utility, the project extended to other key areas of the home. The floor-to-ceiling media unit provides ample storage and display space in their living area, blending perfectly with their modern interior. Meanwhile, the fully fitted office space offers a functional and comfortable work environment, and the custom walk-in wardrobe adds a touch of luxury to their bedroom.
We loved collaborating with Jane and Adrian on this extensive home renovation, and they are thrilled with the results—a harmonious blend of style, practicality, and modern living.
