Pops of Colour in a Beautifully Calm Space

We remember clearly when one of our designers, Rosie, was looking at various feature colours with her client Lesley, for a new kitchen space project. A full wall of painted woodgrain cabinetry in a subtle Designer’s Guild Chalk was going to contrast well with the large island in Robin’s Egg. And with the sideboard in Parson’s Green. And with the bespoke pantry in Dulux Lemon Pie.

The kitchen size was generous, but would all those colours work well in one of the busiest spaces of a home?
Yes, they would. And they do. Very well indeed.

Key Elements

As you would expect the kitchen is the heart of this home and everything needed to prepare cook and serve food and drink is catered for – from the BORA downdraft integrated hob extraction, the Quooker boiling water tap, BLANCO sink a large be-spoke pantry with coffee station, the AEG dishwasher, integrated Fridge Freezer, AEG and SIEMENS Ovens and of course, a wine cooler.

The countertops and windowsills are 20mm Quartz in Statuario – with a beautiful marble vein running through it – that adds a contemporary solid finish to the colourful, stylish, calm space.

As naturally creative people, designers love to bring ideas to life, work with clients to deliver exactly what their vision is, and will always help guide clients to achieve a desired scheme that is aesthetically pleasing yet functional, individual yet practical and above all, exactly what they hoped it would be. Working closely with Lesley on this kitchen has meant she is as delighted with the result as we are.
