We were able to design the perfect kitchen to accommodate her wish list by selecting our German Nobilia cabinetry and combining Alpine White and Sanremo Oak cabinetry with recessed and handless doors. The Organic White Caesarstone Quartz worktops and upstands complement the clean lines and create a bright airy space.
A tall pull out larder and a corner cabinet with swivel pull out shelving add to the generous storage spaces, and a large pan drawer incorporated into the window seat is both functional and practical.
The kitchen is now flooded with natural light during the day, as well as the lighter reflective surfaces the way it has been designed ensures no bulky obstruction to the sight lines between the door and the window.
The concealed undercabinet and shelves lighting add aesthetic detailing as well as a soft option for illuminating the room when it is less sunny or in the evening.
It was important for Jo to upgrade the appliances, sink and taps in line with the quality German cabinetry. We replaced the stainless steel sink with a Caple white ceramic one, a pull out solid brushed stainless steel tap, adding an AEG black oven and the introduction of an induction hob and carbon filter extractor meant we could reposition the cooking space from it’s original gas fed location. The dishwasher and fridge freezer are integrated and the existing boiler and pipework are concealed within tall wall units.
Jo is delighted with her new German kitchen and is enjoying cooking in a beautiful space.
