All I Want for Christmas is a New Kitchen
Carol came to see us following a recommendation from her son, whose kitchen we had previously designed. Although a beautiful 1930’s house, Carol was not happy with the existing kitchen, that was dated and fitted against a backdrop of black floor tiles and black wall tiles.
High on the wish list was a breakfast bar area to replace a small round table and chairs, glass wall units and shelving as well as plenty of storage – and, of course, having the project completed in time for Christmas….
Key Elements
We started the design process early in October, and following the necessary consultation process we were able to create a beautiful shaker style modern kitchen with contemporary handles, smooth painted finish cabinetry in Durness Cliffs and Cornforth White, complemented by striking Caesarstone worksurfaces and upstands in White Attica polished quartz.
To replace the function of the old table and chairs, we created a kitchen peninsula breakfast bar, beautifully curved to comfortably accommodate kitchen stools without compromising floor space. A full complement of AEG appliances were included in the kitchen design as well as the BORA S Pure induction hob with integrated downdraft extraction.
The kitchen transformation was completed on budget, with everything that was on the wish list and maybe a little more, and importantly, in time for Christmas.
