Contemporary Grey Shaker, Quality German Engineering
When Mike and Gillian moved home and decided they wanted a new kitchen after extending, they knew who to call – as they had used Artizan Interiors for their previous kitchen! This project was going to be a contemporary shaker style with an expansive splashback area and modern open shelving in place of traditional wall units.
Key Elements
With plenty of natural light streaming through the open plan space, the Pearl Grey cabinetry finish was the perfect choice, complemented by Carrara White worktops and splashbacks, framed by an oak display shelf with warm under lighting. As with all kitchens, storage is an important element to maintain order, and we incorporated plenty, including pull out larders and lots of drawers.
All the AEG appliances are integrated, as are the recycling bins and the over head extractor is cleverly enclosed within a feature column made to look like part of the original construction.
The Franke Arcana ceramic sink and AEG induction hob break the straight lines of the worksurfaces, adding beautiful shapes as well as practical function to the kitchen. Another home made perfect with the addition of a well designed space at the heart of family life.
