Two Kitchen Spaces Become One.
With this project, our client Michael wanted us to design an additional kitchen space that would complement the existing kitchen in his sizeable Guildford home.
Key Elements
We matched the existing kitchen units with Stormer Athens gloss white cabinetry, adding Nero grey to the island for contrast as well as a 40mm oak breakfast bar, oak panels and oak trims that add warmth to the overall look and tie in with the wooden flooring in the dining area.
We looked at several options for the new work surfaces and decided to match the existing one, a 35mm Corian.
The kitchen Michael already had in place was relatively new and so we were able to utilise and re-position some of the appliances. We moved the existing towers that housed the coffee machine and warming drawer into the utility room and fitted the appliances within a new tower. This is seamlessly integrated with the new 40mm floating shelves and bronze mirror in the space where the dining table, chairs and display unit used to be.
We were very pleased to have realised our client’s vision of a beautiful space that works well and now complements and enhances the high standard of the rest of the house and delighted to receive a great testimonial to share on our website.
